The AMR-1 Project
2016
This project began in my Freshman year of high school, when me and my friends drew some simple “engineering drawings” and I turned it into a basic 3D model. This model was done in Autodesk Maya, my first 3D modeling package.
2017
As I expanded my knowledge of the 3D modeling industry I discovered Substance Painter, a powerful texturing software. I used it to much more accurately texture this model.
2018
Unsatisfied with the overall look of the design, and eager to try out my now far more advanced Blender CAD skills I redesigned the whole piece. I find Blender far more conducive to the hard surface static modeling that I enjoy.
